Once upon a time… Long, long ago, a king and queen ruled in a faraway land. The queen gave birth to a baby girl. "When she grows up, she shall prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall asleep forever," the evil fairy declared.

The king gave an order to his soldiers that all of the spinning wheels in the kingdom be destroyed. Eighteen years passed, and the baby girl grew into a lovely young lady.
