David Böhm

David Böhm (1982) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 2003 to 2009 in the studios of Vladimír Kokolia and Vladimír Skrepl. In 2021, he completed his doctoral program there. Since 2022, he has been leading the Graphics I studio, also at the AVU in Prague. He completed a semester-long internship at the Faculdade de Belas Artes Universidade da Universidade do Porto in Portugal. The work of the artistic duo Jiří Franta and David Böhm has been connected since their studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. They have presented their work at numerous exhibitions, in publications, and in site-specific projects in the Czech Republic and abroad. In 2009, 2010, and 2021, they were finalists for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award.
