Silvie Šeborová

Silvie Šeborová (1981) is a theorist and critic of contemporary art and a cultural manager. Her main interests include contemporary art, ways of presenting it, and bringing art to the public. From 2003 to 2010, she worked as a lecturer at the Moravian Gallery, and from 2015 to 2019 as deputy director for external communications and head of the lecturing department there. In 2008, she founded the Artalk.cz portal, which she ran until 2015. As an independent curator, she worked for Open Studios Brno and prepared a number of smaller projects in galleries in Brno and Prague. She participates in the organization of Brno Art Week and in moderating discussions on contemporary art. She writes books on art intended primarily for young readers.
