Olga Stehlíková (1977) studied Czech language and literature, general linguistics, and phonetics at Charles University in Prague and journalism at the Higher Vocational School of Journalism in Prague. Since 2020, she has been editing poetry for the Odeon publishing house. She is the author of several poetry collections. Her debut collection, Týdny (Weeks), won the Magnesia Litera prize for poetry. She also writes short stories and children’s books, such as Kluci netančej! (Boys Don’t Dance!) and Kařut a Řabach. Her text Já, člověk (I, Human) won the Albatros literary competition on the theme of The World Around Us.
