Ludmila Hénková

Born in Boskovice on 28 September 1964, Ludmila Hénková lives and works as a teacher in Brno. Her experience in special education and bibliotherapy is reflected in her literary pursuits. Her publications include the stories Rub a líc života/The Front and Back of Life (2017) and Pohádky z parapetu/Stories from the Windowsill (2018), the e-books Dětská encyklopedie laskavosti/A Child’s Encyclopaedia of Kindnesses and Laskavé pohádky/Stories of Kindness, and the volume of poetry Tiché volání/Silent Call, plus columns for adult readers and regular contributions to online periodicals. She also designs teaching programmes and evening activities and writes song lyrics.
