Katerina was born in the Czech Republic where she studied Special Needs, specialising in Speech Therapy. In 2014, she moved to New Zealand where she now lives permanently. She spent the first couple of years in New Zealand working with children with special needs but her interest in nature and sustainability led her to changing her job. In 2018, she started working as a gardener at an organic farm where she learnt all about healthy soils and regenerative ways of growing. Since starting her family, she has been enjoying passing her knowledge to younger generations.
