Irena Hejdová

Irena Hejdová (1977) is a Czech journalist, film critic, and screenwriter. She graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University and studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU. From November 2005 to 2008, she worked as a film editor for the Aktuálně.cz portal, from January 2009 she was an editor for Hospodářské noviny, and from October 2009 she worked for Týden magazine. Since 2022, she has been working at Deník N, where she heads the culture and lifestyle section and is the deputy editor-in-chief.
