Martina Lišková (b. 19 November 1988, Zlín)
Martina Lišková is a graduate in Applied Painting and Glass Design from the Applied Art School of Glassmaking in Valašské Meziříčí. She went on to graduate in Digital Animation from the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín and in Gallery Pedagogy and Art Mediation from Masaryk University, Brno. Away from school, she works as an illustrator. She is currently a teacher of art at the Rudolf Firkušný primary art school in Napajedla. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Rozumění Otrokovice artists’ group. In her free time, she enjoys painting and leading art workshops. In 2015 Martina Lišková’s paintings on canvas were exhibited at the chateaux in Holešov and Bzenec, the Bzenec Autumn art festival and the museum in Napajedla (as part of the 4th Napajedla Art Salon). She is currently working on a series of pictures entitled A Week in Madagascar, for a travelling exhibition that will take in Zlín, Olomouc, Bzenec and Otrokovice. Martina Lišková lives and works in Lipová u Slavičína, a small village.
