  1. WHO WE ARE AND WHO CAN YOU CONTACT REGARDING YOUR PRIVACY PROTECTION

 Your personal data that you provide us with for the purposes below is processed by our company Albatros Media a.s., with the registered office at 5. kvetna 1746, 140 00 Prague, IN 283 77 141, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert No. 14206 (hereinafter referred to as „our company“ or „the controller“).

Some of the data provided by you is of the nature of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereafter referred to as the “Regulation”). Processing of personal data is a necessary part of our activity. Without providing personal data and without processing the data, we would not be able to provide you with our services, enter into a contractual relationship with you and fulfil the obligations arising from it.

In case you are interested in our news, discounts and offered products, you can subscribe to newsletters. We need your e-mail address to be able to send you all this information. We process the e-mail address solely for the purpose of sending electronic newsletters based on your consent to the processing of personal data for this purpose. You grant us the consent to process your personal data for a period of 5 years and you can withdraw it at any time – whether by withdrawing from the newsletter directly at the bottom of the e-mail that contains the newsletter or by sending an e-mail to gdpr@albatrosmedia.cz. Upon the withdrawal of your consent, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter database.

  • Personal data of contractual partners

From you as our contractual partners, our company obtains and processes personal data necessary for the conclusion of a contractual relationship, namely the name and surname, address (permanent address, contact address) / place of business, date of birth / IN, TIN (if assigned), telephone number, e-mail address, contact person’s details (if any). These data serve to accurately identify you and enable us to fulfil our contractual obligations. The exact range of mandatory data depends on the specific contractual type. Without you providing us with the required information, we cannot enter into the agreement.

We process the above stated personal data provided to us by you for the purposes of:

  • entering into a contractual relationship and fulfilling the obligations arising from the contractual relationship;
  • direct marketing. The processing of personal data for marketing purposes is based on a legal basis of legitimate interest that lasts for 5 years. You can unsubscribe from the news at any time directly at the bottom of the e-mail that contains the newsletter or by sending an e-mail to our e-mail address gdpr @ albatrosmedia.cz.
  • archiving that is required to meet the obligations required by generally binding legal regulations.
  • Personal data of subjects in connection with the handling of complaints, requests for exercising rights and questions

We will process personal data provided by the person who made the request to respond to inquiries and to handle complaints and requests for compliance with the rights addressed to our company. The personal data provided in this way will only be processed by our company in the necessary (provided) scope and only until the inquiry is processed, the request for fulfilment of rights or the initiative, unless the need to process the personal data for other purposes arises (e.g. for the protection of rights and the interests of our company protected by law). You provide us with this personal data voluntarily because without the data our company would be unable to handle the request, the claim for exercising the rights or the complaint, therefore your consent to the processing of personal data is not required.

  1. HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR?

We process and keep the personal data depending on the purpose. In case of a contractual relationship or a legitimate interest, we process your personal data for the duration of these purposes and, subsequently, after their termination, according to the archival deadlines specified in the relevant legislation.

  1. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your data is safe with us. We carefully select our partners to whom we provide with your data and who are able to provide such technical and organizational security of your data to prevent unauthorized or accidental access to your data or other misuse. Your personal data may, to the extent necessary, be provided and accessed especially to companies in which our company has a capital participation.

  1. RIGHT TO RAISE OBJECTIONS

In addition to the rights listed above, you also have the right to raise objections. If you no longer like to receive any business announcements or other news information in our product and service portfolio from us from time to time, you have the opportunity to raise objection against further processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. If you do so, we will no longer process your data for this purpose, and we will no longer send you other business announcements and newsletters.

  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to not to be a subject of automated individual decision-making, including profiling

  1. BREACH OF YOUR RIGHTS

At the same time, we inform you that in the event that you suspect that your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of Personal Data Protection.
